I don't quite understand the OP, but from what I gathered that the dealer just plays his hand while showing only one card, before the player plays his. If this is true, the advantage can be large. For example if the dealer's showing a 6 and is standing with two cards. You know he has a soft 17. This is basically like partial hole card gaming!
    Chance favors the prepared mind

Hope you are not acting dumb but isn’t that obvious?

Like at very basic if it is two cards you know dealer did not bust and if you have 12 you MUST hit. Or at advanced Stage you know if dealer had many cards the more cards the higher chance he busted

No, I'm not acting dumb, I simply asked you a quick question without having thought it through carefully.

    Sincerely,
    Cac

Exactly. That's why it caught my attention that the casino didn't assess that risk beforehand.

Specifically, if the dealer has more than two uncovered cards in his hand, then the dealer is likely to have more low cards than high cards. This is a big deal for Double Deck games.

So it does vary the house edge unlike some comments right?

That depends. The OP wrote the following: 2) Then dealer dealt two cards to player and player draw cards according to basic strategy.

I tend to answer the question that was asked, without embellishment. Nasty habit I have. If, by, "basic strategy," the meaning was standard BS for the game discussed, then the house edge does NOT vary. If, on the other hand, you develop a new "BS" for this specific game, then, clearly, you can do a lot better than traditional BS.

Ask clear questions and you can get clear answers.

    Don
